Inktober 2018 – Day 19

I figured out how to make brown rice. It’s perfect every time. I put it in a sauce pan, heat it until it starts popping. I add water and boil until it’s al dente. Perfect.

Unless…I heat it on high and walk away for something shiny, forget the rice is on HIGH and the rice burns to the pan. I run to the stove, put the pan on the carpet on the porch thinking “hot pad.” Guess what? That hot pad melted onto the bottom of the pot. All kinds of chemicals stuck to the pot. Black rice in the bottom of the pan.

I was living an I love Lucy episode. I used to watch I love Lucy when I was four. She frustrated me when she would get into trouble. I would watch wishing she wouldn’t do those crazy things she would get involved in.

Me and rice are going to pay attention to each other from now on.

Swollen is the word today.

Makes me think of feet. It’s important to me to use my own photos because of copyright. I can’t believe how many pictures of feet I have. With shoes and without.

I swelled these up a bit and boo boo’d the veins and the nails are a bit long. Just saying.

Sketching angular today. I love being in big cities. I can get lost. I can be whoever I want to be. The sites, sounds and the people. This was in D.C. The energy makes me want to go, go, go.

Weak is today’s prompt. I love old buildings and their hidden treasures. I came upon this chair in a group of many. It’s bottom was rotten. How did this happen? How did it get weak? Whose ass was sitting in it?

I love chairs and my collection on Pinterest is varied.

Weak was a very interesting thought.

Clock. For twenty years I’ve been seeing 11:11. I don’t know what it means. Some say Angels are involved. So make a wish.

Pythagorus was full of more than theories and numbers are a universal language. If you break 1111 down it equals four.

What if we were getting messages all the time?

Bottom line….check in with yourself. Maybe your answers are there.

Today’s topic is guarded.

When my son was four he had a plastic dinosaur puppet from Pizza Hut. He would put that dinosaur outside of his bedroom and slam the door. That dinosaur guarded his room while he fumed. I still remember how I giggled. So cute.

This stuffed animal is the perfect good night for a father and son. The father can whale on the son as he laughs and protests. Expelling energy for a boy as he heads to bed. The good night whale.

Cruel. Cruelty can ooze off of people. Cruel has a demeanor. Malignant Intuition is cruel. When someone uses their knowing to hurt and wound. To Gaslight is cruel. Manipulating events and situations in order to make a person believe that he or she is crazy.

Being around cruel people can make you sick. That’s all I have to say about that.
